I have had a passion for the health and fitness industry for a long time. I have been involved in all types of sports from a young age including Tae Kwon Do, soccer, athletics, squash, mountain biking and the gym. I am 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, training and instructing for over 15 years. From my martial arts, over 10 years’ experience as a personal trainer and my studies at AUT, I have learnt, developed and practiced a wide range of training techniques, skills and ideas that will help maximize your well-being and help you get the most from your training both physically and mentally. I love to help people achieve their goals and believe that providing motivation and encouragement is the key to success. I have lived locally in Howick for over 35 years.

I just love the gym and exercising in general. I believe there is no right or wrong way to train just make sure you’re having fun doing it. I’m not a fan of fad diets or overnight fixes I think it’s a lifestyle and you think of it like building blocks you start with a couple of things and then you just keep adding to it. I’ve been passionate about health and fitness my whole life, I started training at the gym when I was 14 and I’ve been training consistently for the last 20 years. I’ve tried all sorts of sport and fitness activities such as boxing, tennis and Pilates both mat and reformer. I also used to teach Les Mills classes BodyCombat and BodyPump.
