Hi, my name is Miles, and I would like to share with you a little snapshot of myself, and my absolute love and passion for fitness. My journey started at 12 years old tying concrete blocks to my mother’s wooden broom handle. After many broken handles, this led me to my first dumb bell set and the beginning of a 40-year journey of Fitness, exercise, and discovering the best version of myself.
Since then, many things have changed, and I have spent decades studying, researching, learning, and perfecting my knowledge base to now include all aspects of strength training, body building, functional training, nutrition coaching, including genetic and epigenetic personalisation and meal planning, pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation exercise, and writing and diet programming for specialised training and goals.
Over many years of working in Les mills and City fitness gyms, and running my own studio, Bodies Alive Training, I have gained qualifications including a Blackbelt in Karate, Level 6 Diploma in exercise health, Kaizen Australia advance functional health and rehab endorsement, and more recently Precision health alliance nutrition and lifestyle certification.
